TESTING
The development of technical progress increases the requirements to the quality of domestic, waste and natural water treatment. The primary goal of modern technologies of water treatment and water processing is the practical use of effective solutions.

The results of experimental testing are the basis of the required quality and reliability for the design of natural and waste water treatment facilities. Such technologies allow obtaining data that are as close as possible to real operating conditions.

In order to validate the proposed process solutions and to determine the best operating parameters, ECOSTECH Center offers studies for existing or newly designed facilities for the treatment of natural or waste water.
Our center is prepared to carry out tests in laboratory conditions, using the necessary volumes of water from the real site of the Customer. In this way, it is possible to investigate physical and chemical treatment methods, membrane or sorption technologies. This method allows to carry out research in a short time and with minimum costs in order to select the optimal process scheme and confirm its performance while minimizing the future risks and financial losses of the Customer.
When laboratory work is insufficient, rig tests are performed.
They enable to:
- simulate the situation in actual conditions and predict how effective the selected water and wastewater treatment technology will be;;
- obtain reliable and reproducible results for further design;
- obtain data for feasibility study of the project;
- compare different water treatment technologies under real dynamic operating conditions.
Modeling of technological processes is carried out on the basis of the required simulation consisting of tap water with the addition of various substances with the concentration of polluting elements. The rig testing routine runs around the clock, lasting at least 1 month.
Rig tests are carried out on units with a capacity of 5 to 40 l/h with the use of biological wastewater treatment technology using free-floating activated sludge and biomass attached to an inert carrier
The obtained practical data on oxidation rates of certain organic substances with the required time period become a reliable basis for further design and a guarantee of effective operation of treatment facilities.
If there is access to real natural or waste water at the Customer's site in the volume of 12-24 m3/day, the Science Center can deliver a pilot plant of container type and conduct tests according to a pre-arranged program. For implementation of this task there are 3 pilot plants for choice with physical and chemical or membrane technologies of water treatment, as well as conventional biological treatment and MBR technology. Such pilot tests are a reliable way to reduce the risks of choosing the wrong technology, reduce capital expenditures (CAPEX) and further operating costs (OPEX).
